Robinsons for Grown Ups

A few weeks ago I was lucky enough to be invited to the Robinsons Cordially Invited pop up in London to celebrate the launch of their new ranges. I was so interested to learn more about the Fruit Creations and the Fruit Cordial which have been created with the adult palette in mind.

When I walked into the venue I was hit by the amazing aroma of the fresh fruit which was pretty much filling every inch of the room! Well…not quite, but you get the point, there was A LOT! It looked and smelt amazing which immediately got me so excited to try out the new flavours. I also spotted the tiny army of Squash Sommeliers who were there to show us how to enjoy the squash the right way, because lets face it, who know squash better then kids?

Both ranges offer a treat to the grown up tastebuds with Fruit Creations containing no added sugar and twice the fruit, whilst the Fruit Cordial bring a combination of real fruit and botanicals presented in a glass bottle adding an extra touch of sophistication.

The flavours in the Fruit Cordial range include Pressed Pear & Elderflower, Crushed Lime & Mint, Rhubarb, Raspberry & Orange Blossom. The Fruit Creations flavours include Zesty Orange & Mango, Delicious Peach & Raspberry, Juicy Orange, Mandarin & Lime and Exotic Pineapple, Mango & Passion Fruit.

Among the guests were fellow bloggers, Robinsons superfans, competition winners and celebrity guests including Molly King and Denise Van Outen.

I selected my first drink from the Mocktail Menu, all of them sounded delicious but the Rhubarb, Raspberry and Orange Blossom caught my eye. Impressed from the first sip, it was so refreshing and super tasty. To add to this there was a constant supply of Hors D’oeuvres which were perfectly selected to compliment the mocktails. I’m pretty sure I had more than my fair share.

In one corner of the room was a sensory station where there were 4 small glass test tubes containing cotton wool. Intrigued, I headed over to see what it was all about. The idea was to remove all senses apart from your sense of smell to see if you could guess what scent was contained in the tube. I managed to guess 2 out of the 4 which was apparently quite impressive as nobody had guessed correctly up until that point. I guess my aromatherapy training came in handy!

I had such a good time at the event and throughly enjoyed treating my tastebuds. I managed to film a little of the event for you so you could have peek inside the event yourself. I’d love to know if you’ve tried any of the new ranges yourself. Leave me a comment and let me know your favourite flavour. #RobinsonsForGrownUps
